Double-Layer Chocolate Pie
4 ounces cream cheese, softened 2 cups plus 1 tablespoon cold milk 1 tablespoon sugar 8 oz tub whipped topping 6 oz chocolate pie crust 2 4-serving size pkgs chocolate flavor instant pudding & pie filling
Mix the cream cheese, 1 tablespoon milk, and sugar in a large bowl with a wire whisk until smooth. Gently stir in 1 1/2 cups whipped topping. Spread on the bottom of the prepared crust. Pour 2 cups milk into a bowl. Add the pudding mixes. Beat with a wire whisk until well mixed. (Mixture will be thick.) Immediately stir in the remaining whipped topping. Spread over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 4 hours or until set. Garnish with additional whipped topping, if desired. Cut into wedges and serve. Store leftover pie in the refrigerator.
